ITSM by HP: HP Service Manager and HP Asset Manager Solutions

HP ITSM offer: “HP Service Management Centre” automates IT services’ lifecycle and assets management processes. HP Service Management Centre provides a database for the management of a federated and detailed configuration helping the company’s IT change. The aim is that the company remains focussed on its activity.

HP Service Management Centre includes the following elements:

  • “HP Service Manager” give the ability to change the IT department into a service centre thanks to process automation carrying out services provided to customers, management of identities and control of IT infrastructure’s TCO. HP Service Manager helps the company reduce time due to problem solving. Setting up the ITIL’s best practices as well as a flexible service-oriented infrastructure allows the company deploying processes that are coherent and integrated to the entire IT organisation.

  5. Request management: for the deployment of a unique catalogue referencing all the services offered by the IT and that users can access
  • “HP Asset Manager” is used for the assets financial and contractual management as well as the IT infrastructure TCO.it is composed of the following elements:
  1. Finance: for the collection and the monitoring of all the IT asset costs: acquisition costs, maintenance costs, migration and removal costs. This aims to manage the entire lifecycle of the assets.
  2. Contracts: for the contract management from the definition of initial terms and conditions to the renewal its end.
  3. Software Management: a full set of best practices to manage contracts, rights, licences and status of conformity.
  4. Purchases: for the purchase management process automation and approvals. It aims to check that purchase requests comply with the company’s standards
  5. Re-billing: to re-bill internal bills. The designation and distribution of expenses process is thus made on the basis of accurate and updated information in compliance with the company’s expenses policy.
  • “HP Connect-it”, the tool that is used to integrate and interface as well as its integration connectors bring an added value to HP Service Manager and HP Asset Manager Solutions. These offers include several integration options that are ready to use. They allow the infrastructure to answer the company’s need more rapidly.
